A MINDFULNESS MEDITATION WITH WORDS FROM THE HEART
Last Wednesday January 17th, writer, yoga instructor, and heart alchemist, Bryonie Wise, lead a guided meditation with excerpts from her new book "Stories My Mama Told Me After She Was Gone". With over 60 people in attendance at lululemon The Local, the room was filled with a buzzing energy and high level of excitement for the session to begin.
Some words from Bryonie meditation practice and creating space;
"I think that we are drawn to spaces and places where vulnerability is encouraged and welcome—hearing someone open their heart (in my case, I shape words to shift energy) allows us to be with whatever is alive in our own hearts.
Meditation supports opening of mind, body, heart, spirit and breath. We are consistently returning home to whatever helps anchor attention—listening to poetry while settling into relative stillness gives us something to focus the flusters of our brilliant brains on, as well as inspires our imagination to play" - Bryonie Wise
Join us for upcoming mindfulness meditation at True Nature Mind.
